Family Law - Criminal Law - Juvenile Law Attorney in Papillion - Metro Omaha

Ryan Watson is an Associate Attorney with Schirber & Wagner, L.L.P., and focuses his practice on family and criminal law, as well as, probate and general civil litigation throughout Douglas, Sarpy, and the surrounding counties. Ryan’s career began as a law clerk for the Sarpy County Public Defender’s Office. During his two years of clerkship, Ryan gained significant trial experience, appellate experience, and an intimate familiarity with the Sarpy County judicial system.

While a student at Creighton University’s School of Law, Ryan was a member of Law Review where he was recognized for distinguished service and enjoyed the immense privilege of being published. Ryan also had the privilege of being able to study family and juvenile law under professor Catherine R. Brooks and was accepted into her inaugural family law practice course. In addition to his academics, Ryan was the Vice President of Fundraising for the Public Interest Law Forum, and Vice President and Treasurer for the Environmental Law Society.

Ryan and his wife Elizabeth are lifelong residents of the Omaha metro area, both graduates of Central High School, and parishioners of St. Cecilia’s Cathedral. They have two exuberant young boys, Nathaniel and Finnegan, who provide a wealth of laughter and never allow a dull moment to pass. Although he lacks any real talent, Ryan claims to enjoy golfing with his peers. He typically has more success talking his way onto a team than he actually does on the course.
